How Does Your Garden Grow Collage Soup
A collage, journal and scrapbook treasure trove of cut and glue images for arts & crafts: A book of 165 fancy collage papers to cut up, tear up, and stick on.
I have looked at these Collage Soup books several times but haven’t purchased one but now, one of the founders of Fodder School Tiffany Sharpe has collaborated on the “How Does Your Garden Grow” so I had to check it out! I loved her watercolor and collage lessons in the first 3 years of Fodder School and wondered what she was up to and it looks like this is one of the places. I’m so happy for Tiffany.
Tiffany goes through this collage soup book. It’s garden themed of course. She goes through how to use the images in the collage book in a 3 part tutorial.
How Does Your Garden Grow part 2 Collage Soup
In Part 2, Tiffany talks about how her recommendation to have one side of the pages where some of the beautiful images you are dying to fussy cut aren’t sacrificed. She fussy cuts and puts the bits together to create absolutely gorgeous pages in her gardening journal
Part 3 “How Does Your Garden Grow” Collage Soup Book
One of the main features of this collage soup book is that the pages are in landscape so you can actually use the whole page as a page in your journal and have it be facing the right way when you fold your pages.
Collage Soup has lots of other garden collage books as well

Butterfly Tutorial and Class Giveaway with Tiffany Sharpe
She also shows how she had melded her watercolor images from her courses into the garden journals she is creating with the Collage Soup Garden edition. She gives us all a free tutorial on butterflies that you can use in your creative art endeavors as well.

Tiffany loves to use Renesans Watercolors. They are a Polish brand but are sourced in the US through A Little Creative Me on Etsy. There are two sets with Tiffany specific colors if you have fallen in love with her color palette. The original Tiffany palette is here. This is the one I ordered for Fodder School. You’ll find these watercolors to be highly pigmented with little to no granulation. I’m a big fan of granulation so I use a mix of these and Daniel Smith’s in my watercolor work. Her newest set is the Warm & Cozy featuring Hygee colors used in the books image above. To create your own palette you can go directly to A Little Creative Me here. Posca Pens are available at Joggles, Blicks Art & Amazon.
