If you like to take some coloring wherever you go, coloring journals are a great option. Sometimes you sit down to journal and you can’t really think of what to write, but if you sit and put color to shapes on a page that often opens up the creative parts of our brain and relaxes us enough to be able to get in touch with our feelings and intentions for the now and the future.
Coloring Journals come in a few types, some have a few doodles or designs on each page, some have full pictures to color in on one page with either a journaling area or a calendar area on the other side, some have inspirational pieces to color while others have inspirational quotes with surrounding art. I have explored quite a few and of course have some favorites.
As you may know if you follow my social media, I have started using my large stash of art supplies in mixed media and with my Lifebook 2018 projects I am using this beautiful journal from Tyndale Publishing as my art journal.
