Hanna Karlzon lives in Umeå, Sweden where she enjoys the nature and wildlife that surrounds her as you can see from her coloring book subject matter. Each of her books is printed as a real hardbacked book with glorious paper to color on. Each page is two-sided so do take care with your coloring mediums but the paper can handle quite a bit of layering and even careful watercolor application.

This gorgeous book will be in her signature size and printing style, a hardbound “keep forever” type of coloring book we just don’t find in the US. Hanna shares that the inspiration for Jewelry Box aka Smyckeskrinet is an old Edwardian house and its garden. Hanna’s one-of-a-kind style put to subjects of people, animals, flowers, clocks, and vases reminiscent of the turn of the century. We can’t wait to get our hands on it, as always, we might have to snag the Swedish version as well.

Unfortunately, the artist book of Faces only called “Tillsammans” was only available for a short time at Printworks in Sweden and it is out of print. Count yourself lucky if you managed to snag a copy.
